A friend in fashion has been well trained not to throw away invites after the event. But to re-cycle them in my direction for filing.
When not editing the year’s best launch she has the dubious pleasure of carting around bits and pieces of used cardboard. And having to keep them flat.
This invite is so lovely. It’s for the Giles Deacon show. It’s a to-size paper card reproduction of his own glasses. And attached is a nice tag with the pertinent details on it. The paper glasses also have a sticking plaster stuck on them, a la NHS-ism.
Mr Deacon is the new designer at Ungaro.
We’re all happy then.
